Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG supplies the independent aftermarket with quality-optimized automotive spare parts. Our specialty: HD parts. The modified and optimized components are developed by our team of engineers at our Hamburg base. Based on market research, recall statistics or information from partners at the German technical inspection organization TÜV and workshops, our engineers analyze wear-prone OE components. They then weed out the weak points by developing technically sophisticated solutions. And of course other MEYLE parts profit from the findings.

The making of MEYLE HD parts

When developing MEYLE HD spare parts engineers have only one goal in mind: creating automotive parts which top the original in terms of durability and service life. To achieve this goal they analyze the weak points of OE components and subsequently correct these, for example by using higher-grade materials or by a more robust part design.

In this way we ensure MEYLE parts deploy cutting-edge technologies, which is not always the case with many original equipment parts due to tight engineering cycles and cost and material restraints.

It goes without saying that our engineers always take account of the overall system of the assembly group to ensure that technical improvements of one component do not entail premature failure of another.

Production

Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG can draw on its many years of experience in the manufacturing of automotive spare parts. MEYLE parts are produced at our own production facilities or by trusted partners of an international production network. Our team of qualified engineers provides professional support for production processes at sites worldwide – from the making of the production tools to delivery of the final MEYLE parts.

Top-grade carefully chosen materials, high-precision manufacturing tools, state-of-the-art production techniques, efficient assembly lines and trained personnel – these are the cornerstones of a trouble-free production of MEYLE parts at our plants worldwide.

Wulf Gaertner Autoparts runs its own production facilities with special expertise in the production of steering & suspension components and rubber-to-metal parts. Highly-qualified experts on-site and the Germany-based team of engineers share and benefit from each-other's experience and knowledge. Qualification, motivation, communication combine to give optimum production results.

Quality management you can rely on

Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG also applies the proverbial German precision to its quality control standards. We scrutinize materials, workmanship and fit of MEYLE parts – to mention but a few. Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG’s quality management system ensures fail-safe operation, long service life and ease of installation of all MEYLE parts – from initial sample to final product.

Complex multi-stage test procedures

MEYLE parts are subjected to multiple test procedures throughout the entire production cycle.

First, the initial sample is tested. Only if it meets the required quality criteria will volume production start. The German team of technicians supervises production to rule out variations in the quality of our products. Prior to the shipment of customer orders random tests or 100 % checks ensure that only parts of the highest quality leave the warehouse. Our expert technicians at the Hamburg test laboratory use special analyzing methods complemented by quality tests carried out by independent organizations, such as the German technical inspection organization TÜV.

In addition, Wulf Gaertner Autoparts also does field tests. For test purposes MEYLE parts are fitted to various vehicle types in different countries. Many driven kilometers within short time, different climatic environments and road conditions are an ideal setting for field test results. Our stringent standards and continuous tests guarantee uniform quality of MEYLE parts.
